Kendall cagers roll past rival Holley

Photo by Cheryl Wertman – Evan Gaesser and his Kendall teammates scored a Senior Night victory over rival Holley this evening.

Celebrating Senior Night, Kendall romped to a 57-16 victory over visiting rival Holley this evening in a Genesee Region League boys basketball game.

Will Condo scored a game high 18 points to lead the way for Kendall as Evan Gaesser added 9, Nick Manners 8, Mookie Nauden 7 and Jacob Ramsdell 6.

Condo also had 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists; Nauden 8 rebounds, 7 assists 2 steals and a block and Ramsdell 6 rebounds and 5 blocks.

Kendall, which had already locked up the G-R Division 2 title, built up leads of 14-5 after one quarter and 27-11 at halftime. Condo scored 9 in the first period and 7 in the second and Gaesser chpped in with two three’s in the second stanza.

The Eagles then closed out the win by outpointing the Hawks 30-5 in the second half.

Kendall, which is now 10-3 in G-R action and 12-5 overall, next hosts Wheatland-Chili at 5 p.m. Saturday.
