Kendall rallies to gain tie in U17 soccer

Rebounding from a two goal deficit, Kendall rallied in the second half to earn a 3-3 tie with the visiting Chili Select Monday in a Rochester District Youth Soccer League girls U17 Division game.

Chili scored in the final minute of the first half to take a 2-1 lead and then upped the advantage to 3-1 with a tally early in the second half.

However, Kendall came battling back first cutting the deficit in half on a goal by Alezya Brown and then netting the equalizer on a penalty kick tally by Julia Smith in the final minutes.

Brown also scored Kendall’s first goal early in the opening half which pulled the Crossfires even at 1-1.

Improving to 3-0-2, Kendall previous had defeated the Genesee Lancers 4-0, Batavia 2-0 and 1-0 and tied the Brockport Blizzard 0-0.
