Kendall posts win over Alexander
A big third quarter scoring burst keyed Kendall to a 62-54 win over visiting Alexander this evening to close out the Genesee Region League boys basketball season.
Breaking away from a 28-28 half-time tie, Kendall used a 23-14 scoring edge in the third period to key the win.
The Eagles had five players in double figures as Zach Barrett scored 18, Devin Edick and Hunter Richards 11 and Louie Conte and Jacek Kwiatkowski 10.
Paul Schmitt led Alexander with 17.
Elba 61, Lyndonville 45
Angelo Penna scored 21, Nicholas Scott 12 and Jake Walczak 11 to spark Elba to a 61-45 G-R win over visiting Lyndonville.
Trenton Muck scored 21, Ian Mank 19 and Mason Nicholson 9 for Lyndonville which trailed 20-11 after the first period, 42-22 at the half and 51-41 after three quarters.
In another G-R game, Attica downed Holley 92-48.
