Kendall/Orleans FC downs Batavia
Improving to 7-1-1, the Kendall/Orleans FC downed host Batavia 6-1 Sunday evening in a Rochester District Youth Soccer League girls U17 Division game.
Clara Duggan scored 3 goals, Samantha Webster 2 and Sophia Picardo 1 for Kendall/Orleans FC.
Kendall/Orleans FC will next visit Wayne on Tuesday and then host the division leading Cobras (8-0-1) on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Mustangs FC forfeits
A shortage of players caused the Medina Mustangs FC to forfeit a regular season ending game to the host Celtic Brigade on Sunday.
Medina, which had already locked up the Buffalo District Soccer League 2md Division title, finishes the regular season at 8-3.
Medina will next host a semifinal round playoff game on August 4.
