Kendall nips rival Holley to go to 11-0

Staying perfect at 11-0 on the season, Kendall edged past rival Holley 2-1 in overtime this afternoon in a Genesee Region League boys soccer game.

Riley Igbal scored the game winner for Kendall in the first overtime period off an assist from Will Condo.

Condo also gave Kendall an 1-0 lead when he scored with 31:33 to go in the first half off a corner by Alex Sutphen.

Holley though rallied back to knot the score when Flint DiLella scored on a header off a corner by Ryan Camacho with 19 minutes remaining in the opening half.

Kendall is now 6-0 in the league while Holley is 3-2-1.

In the girls game, Kendall and Holley battled to a 1-1 overtime tie.

All the scoring game in the game’s first six minutes as Luca Fahmer scored for Holley off an assist from Sarah Wharrram and Kendall answered right back with the equalizer by Nicole Browe.

In G-R volleyball, Kendall downed Holley 25-21, 26-24, 25-16.

Lyndonville 2, Oakfield-Alabama 1
Celebrating Homecoming, Lyndonville bested Oakfield-Alabama 2-1 this afternoon in a G-R contest.

Gabby Dusett scored both goals for Lyndonville in the first half off assists from Autumn Nesbitt and Alyssa Mahnke.

Jenna Castricone and Cheyenne Button shared the goaltending duties for the Lady Tigers which also got a strong game at the stopper position from Rebekah Hoffee.
