Kendall nips Northstar in double overtime
Kendall outlasted host Northstar 3-2 in double overtime this afternoon in a non league boys soccer game.
Hayden VanDusen scored the game winning goal for Kendall on a penalty kick in the second 10 minute overtime period.
Earlier, Kendall built up a 2-0 lead as Brian Shaw scored in the first half off an assist from Dale Steffen and Jacob Esposito tallied in the second half.
However, Northstar rallied into a tie on a pair of late second half penalty kick goals to send the contest into overtime.
Mason Kuhn made 17 saves in goal for the Eagles.
Kendall improves to 7-5-2.
Albion 2, Wheatland-Chili 2 OT
Albion played to a 2-2 double overtime tie with Wheatland-Chili in a non league game.
Angel Rosario scored on a penalty kick in the first half and Conner Hollenbeck tallied in the second half for the Albion goals.
