Kendall netters down rival Holley; Medina and Albion score N-O victories

A sweep of the three singles matches keyed Kendall to a 4-1 victory over visiting Holley this afternoon in a Genesee Region League tennis match.

In the signals matches the Eagles got straight set wins by Collin Lewis, 6-2, 6-0 over Derek McArthur; James Longrod, 6-3, 6-2 over Tyler Hill and Nate Warters, 7-5, 6-0 over Dylan McKay.

The Eagles also got a straight set win at first doubles from the duo of Cameron Zinsmeister and Chris Butlin.

Holley’s lone point was earned by the second doubles duo of Steve Morgan and Dalton Thurley.

Medina 3 1/2, Wilson 2
Defending champion Medina downed host Wilson 3 1/2-2 to stay unbeaten at 8-0 in Niagara-Orleans League competition.

Kristian Snyder defeated Joey Hecko 6-2, 6-0 at first singles and Nick Bogan downed Max Faery 6-0, 6-2 at third singles to lead the way for Medina.

The Mustangs also had Toby Kiebala and Ray Paull defeat Joey Moote and Mia Olear 6-2, 6-3 at second doubles and Able Zavitz and Brandon Harris down Allisa Smith and Jacob Hecko 4-6, 7-5, 6-4 at third doubles.

Wilson, which is now 4-4, had Kyle Lyon down Mike Cardone 6-2, 6-0 at second singles and the duo of Alex Couturier-Mike Pazik defeat Kyla Lendo and Andrew Fuller 7-5, 6-4 at first doubles.

Albion bests Roy-Hart twice
Albion swept to a pair of 4 1/2-1 wins over visiting Roy-Hart to improve to 5-3.

Connor McQuillan won twice at second singles as did Donato Rosario at third singles to lead Albion.

The Purple Eagles also got wins from the doubles teams of Owen Foos-Emilie Barleben, Victor Benjovsky-Freeman Lattin and Kastriot Bella-Jan Santigao.

Patrick Sheelar won twice at first singles for Roy-Hart which slips to 2-7.

Barker takes 2 from Newfane
Barker (3-6) swept to a doubleheader victory over Newfane (0-9) by the identical score of 4-1 1/2.

Nick Fazzolari won twice at first singles as did Jake Meister at second singles for Barker.

Christian Young and Jake Harris each registered a win at third singles for the Raiders.

At first doubles for the Raiders Natalie Bruning teamed up first with Harris and then with Young for victories.
