Kendall netters score playoff win
Kendall defeated Pavilion 5-0 this afternoon in the opening round of the Section V Class DD tennis tournament.
Riley Iqbal, Collin Lewis and James Longrod scored wins in singles competition for Kendall.
The Eagles also got wins from the doubles teams of Kenny Price – Jamie Treat and Chris Butlin – Matt Murray.
The Eagles next face top seeded Marion in the quarterfinals.
In another sectional match, North Rose-Wolcott defeated Holley 4-1.
Jon Rusin at third singles scored the lone win for Holley which dropped narrow three set decisions in the other two singles matches.
In the Section VI Tournament, the Medina doubles team of Brian Bogan and Tristan Sanders lost in the opening round in straight sets.
