Kendall, Lyndonville split in G-R track

Kendall defeated visiting Lyndonville 85-28 this afternoon in a Genesee Region League girls track meet.

Lyndonville gained a split on the day by downing Kendall 59-48 in the boys meet.

Alexander scored a sweep on the day defeating Lyndonville 122-14 and Kendall 98-35 in the girls meet. The Trojans also bested Lyndonville 112-25 and Kendall 107-28 in the boys competition.

The Lyndonville boys were sparked by a pair of double winners as Nathan Poler won the 200 (:27.1) and High Jump (5-3) and Evan Horn the 100 (:12.7) and Long Jump (19-1/4)

For the Kendall boys, Ethan Kuhn won the 110 Hurdles (:19.0) and 400 Hurdles (1:11) and Dylan Spellan took the Shotput (34-4) and Discus (99-1).

The Kendall girls had Madison Jacob double in the 400 Hurdles (1:18.4) and 200 (:30.1) and Brianna Wakefield in the 800 (2:48.9) and 3000 (13:32.9). Jenna Regan also won the Shotput (21-1 1/2) and Lyndsay Wright the 100 Hurdles (:18.5) for the Lady Eagles.

Tennis
Holley  4, Pembroke 1
Holley improved to 2-0 in G-R tennis competition by defeating Pembroke 4-1.

Aaron Strathearn and Cheyan Palmer both earned singles victories for Holley.

The Hawks also took the two doubles matches on wins by the duos of Dalton Thurley-Steve Morgan and Eli Bibby-Jake Peters.
