Kendall, Lyndonville score G-R softball wins
Kendall defeated rival Holley 17-2 and Lyndonville downed Elba 18-8 in Genesee Region League softball action this afternoon.
Karlee Robb went 3 of 3 at the plate and drove in 4 runs and Julie Coble and Ciera Kupferschmid each had 2 hits for Kendall. Winning pitcher Sara Mattle also had a hit and 2 RBIs and Grace Levett a hit with 3 RBIs.
In the circle, Mattle hurled a 5 hitter with 6 strikeouts.
Kendall is now 3-3 overall and Jolley 0-4.
Lyndonville improved to 5-1 as an 8 run third inning and a 5 run fifth frame keyed the victory.
Winning pitcher Lorelei Dillenbeck had 4 hits including a home run, Chloe Stinson 3 hits including a home run, Brynn Howell and Brianna Krisher 2 hits each and Ella Lewis a triple to lead the Lady Tigers attack.
In the circle, Dillenbeck scattered 7 hits and struck out 4.
