Kendall, Lyndonville cagers bow

Kendall bowed to Oakfield-Alabama 81-49 and Lyndonville dropped an 80-40 decision at Pembroke this evening in Genesee Region League boys basketball action. The Elba vs. Holley game was postponed due to the weather.

Tylor Ohlson scored 20, Tayvon Boyd 18 and Ryan Douglas 15 to lead Oakfield-Alabama which jumped out to leads of 26-12 after one period and 42-28 at the half.

Mickey Gardner scored 18 and Hunter Menze 14 for Kendall.

Reid Miano scored 22, Lucas Kohorst 21, Ethan Stone 14 and Jamil Marable Jr. 10 to spark Pembroke.

The Dragons held leads of 19-11 after one period, 40-27 at the half and 67-34 at the three-quarter mark.  Kohorst scored 12 and Miano 10 in the third period.

Matt Hess, Nathan Poler and Kane Flynn each scored 8 for Lyndonville as Zach Johnson added 6, Richard Forder 5, Nathan Dillenbeck 4 and Bryce Seddon 1.
