Kendall, Holley netters score G-R wins

Kendall and Holley both scored Genesee Region League tennis victories today.

The Eagles blanked Byron-Bergen 5-0 while the Hawks edged past Elba 3-2.

Collin Lewis, James Longrod and Nathan Warters all scored straight set wins in singles competition for Kendall as did the Eagles doubles teams of Christopher Butlin- Camron Zinmeister and Ryan Barrett-Jenna LoSapio.

Holley was led by victories at first and third singles by Derek McArthur and Dylan McKay.

The Hawks also got a key win by the second doubles team of Dalton Thurley and Steven Morgan.

Kendall earns split in track

Kendall defeated Oakfield-Alabama 77-62 this afternoon in a Genesee Region League girls track meet.

Lyndsay Wright was a triple winner in the 100, 100 Hurdles and 400 Hurdles and Lexi Payton doubled in the Long Jump and High Jump to lead the Lady Eagles.

Oakfield-Alabama downed Kendall 115-26 in the boys meet.

Cameron Heller was a double winner for Kendall in the High Jump and Pole Vault.
