Kendall, Holley girls score G-R soccer wins

Kendall romped past Pembroke 12-0 and Holley downed Wheatland-Chili 4-1 in Genesee Region League girls soccer games this evening.

Ava Quintern scored 4 goals and Sophia Picardo 2 to lead the parade of Kendall scorers as Ava LaMay, Claire VanDusen, Brooke Rodas, Addison Kludt, Hailey Ball and Megan Gates each added 1.

Kendall is now 4-1 in G-R action.

Sam Bates scored 2 goals and Leigha Walker and Emma Brady each added 1 for Holley which is now 5-1 in G-R competition. Brady also had a pair of assists.

N-O League
Wilson 1, Roy-Hart 0
Wilson took over sole possession of first place by nipping visiting Roy-Hart 1-0 on a goal by Leia Cloy.

Wilson is now 5-0 and Roy-Hart 3-1.

Akron 4, Albion 0
Scoring twice in each half Akron blanked Albion 4-0 to improve to 4-2 in N-O action.

Gracie Leiker scored 2 goals for Akron as Olivia Novak and Aleyna Susfolk both had 1.

Abigail Wittenberg made 19 saves in goal for Albion which is now 1-5.

In a non league game, Niagara Falls downed Medina 12-0 at Vets Park.

G-R Volleyball
Oakfield-Alabama downed Lyndonville 25-16, 25-22, 25-12 in a Genesee Region League volleyball match this evening.

Katelynn Williams had 6 aces and 3 kills, Cara Williams 5 aces and 3 kills and Allie Williams 7 kills and 3 aces fpr O-A.

Jackie Mack had 4 kills and 2 digs, Katelynn Breeze 5 kills and 3 digs, Ashlee Stephens 4 digs and 8 assists, Alyssa Prine 5 digs and 1 ace, Maddie Davis 9 digs and 2 aces and Emma Freas 4 digs for Lyndonville.

N-O Golf

Akron downed Wilson 216-incomplete in a N-O golf match this afternoon as Cam Wild took medalist honors with a 41 and Trace Hill added a 42.
