After being either snowed out, rained out or frozen out for most of the early season the opportunity to head south for next week’s spring break is no doubt an extra special treat for the Kendall baseball and softball teams and the Holley baseball squads.

The Kendall baseball and softball teams have a series of scrimmages and games scheduled for the Disney Complex in Orlando, Florida while the Holley baseball squad has the same lined up at the Cal Ripken Experience in Mrytle Beach, South Carolina. Both baseball teams have been south before but this is the first time for the softball team.

“I think that trip really helps us ,” said Kendall baseball Coach Tige Noni. “And we have the baseball and softball games scheduled so the teams can watch and cheer for each other.”

The Kendall baseball teams will play games against Greece Athena this Saturday and Pittsford Mendon on Monday. The Eagles will also scrimmage against Windsor on Sunday, Wildwood on Monday and Byram Hills on Tuesday.

The Kendall softball team will play games against Whitney Young on Saturday, Byram Hills on Sunday, Griswold on Monday and Monroe on Tuesday. The Lady Eagles will also scrimmage St. Paul Catholic on Saturday and Tuesday and John Jay-Cross River on Sunday.

Holley will play games against Geneseo on Tuesday and Greece Odyssey on Thursday. The Hawks also have several scrimmages scheduled.
