Kendall, Holley boys post soccer shutouts

One lone goal proved to be enough as Kendall edged host Wheatland-Chili 1-0 this evening in a Genesee Region League boys soccer game.

William Kludt scored the game’s lone goal for the Eagles in the second half off as assist from Josh Esposito.

Jimmy Swift made 4 saves to earn the shutout in goal.

Now at 1-0-1, Kendall next visits Attica on Thursday.

Holley rolled to a 10-0 G-R season opening win at Pembroke as Cameron Bates scored 6 goals, Chris Mosier 2 and Matt Barlow and Chris Lyndacker 1 each. Drew Carlson had 2 assists.

The Hawks next visit Mt. Morris in a non league contest on Thursday.
