Kendall, Holley bow in G-R contests

Kendall dropped a 61-40 decision to Elba and Holley bowed 69-34 to Attica this evening in Genesee Region League boys basketball action.

Leading by narrow margins of 32-27 at the half and 40-37 at the three-quarter mark, Elba capitalized on a rash of Kendall turnovers to outscore the Eagles 21-3 in the final period to claim the win.

Henry Pflaumer 16, John Hocmuth 15 and Tucker Bezon 14 to lead the way for Elba.

Jacob Ramsdell scored 15, Colton Breslawski 12 and Nick Manners 6 for Kendall. Ramsdell also had 7 rebounds and 7 blocks and Manners 6 rebounds and 3 blocks.

Attica was led by Owen Thompson with 19.

Dylan Hilabush scored 13 points and Derek McArthur grabbed off 10 rebounds for Holley.

Kendall and Holley are now both 0-5.
