Kendall, Holley booters post G-R wins

Erupting for three goals in the first nine minutes, Kendall went on to defeat visiting Pembroke 7-1 this evening in a Genesee Region League boys soccer game.

Holley had a much closer call as the Hawks had to go into double overtime to nip host Attica 1-0.

Justin Barrett opened the scoring for Kendall with a goal just 5:20 in off an assist from Mookie Nauden.

Jake Adams quickly doubled the Eagles advantage with a goal just 27 seconds later as Sage Summers earned the assist.

The Kendall advantage jumped to 3-0 less than three minutes later as Adams scored again, this time off an assist from Riley Iqbal at 31:53.

A goal by Will Condo boosted the Eagles lead to 4-0 at the half.

Condo, Barrett and Brandon Lewis then each netted a goal for Kendall in the second half.

Kendall is now 2-0 in the league and 4-0 overall while Pembroke slips to 0-2.

Holley 1, Attica 0 (2OT)
Andrew Cary scored the game’s lone goal for Holley with 3:26 to go in the second overtime off an assist from Gabe Mendoza.

Patrick Bower earned the shutout in goal, his fourth in as many games.

Holley improves to 1-0-1 in G-R action and 3-0-1 overall.

Wilson 3, Roy-Hart 1
Jenn Darlak scored two goals and Lauren Austin one to lead defending champion Wilson to a 3-1 win over Roy-hart this evening at Gasport in a Niagara-Orleans League game.

Amber Villella scored the Roy-Hart goal.

Wilson improves to 4-0 and Roy-Hart slips to 1-3.
