Looking to improve upon last year’s 3-10 Genesee Region League record, the Kendall High tennis squad boasts a good nucleus of seven veteran players.

That group includes seniors Devin Appleton (1st/2nd singles), who is returning after a season off, Anthony Washington (3rd singles/ 1st doubles), Mike Nundy (1st doubles/3rd singles), Alyssa Hering (1st doubles/3rd singles), Rachel Ackles (2nd doubles), Tessa Vick (2nd doubles) and junior Riley Iqbal (2nd/1st singles).. Iqbal earned G-R All-Star honorable mention last spring.

“I have high expectations for our team this year,” said Coach Dan Boyd. “We have six starting seniors and a junior who received honorable mention last year. Our experience, combined with our work ethic, will enable us to be very competitive this season.”

The Eagles roster also includes senior Tyler Sharkey, juniors Ryan Clay and Jamie Treat, sophomores David Maslyn, Jacob Ramsdell and Zach Rohr and freshman Kenny Price.
