Kendall has new boys soccer coach

Kendall High Athletic Director Kevin Watson has announced that Chris Proukou will be the Eagles new boys varsity soccer coach this fall.

Proukou, who is a Special Education and History teacher, is a graduate of Rush-Henreitta High School and SUNY Brockport. He played soccer at Brockport alongside former Kendall varsity Coach Brian Duffy who resigned in the spring to assume an assistant coaching position at his alma mater Hilton High.

Coach Proukou takes over a Kendall squad that won the Genesee Region League title and went undefeated during the regular season in 2014 under Coach Duffy..

The Eagles are scheduled to open the season with a non league game at LeRoy on September 1.
