Kendall has G-R volleyball All-Star

Kendall senior Brittney Marks has earned Genesee Region League All-Star volleyball honors for the second year in a row.

Marks had 94 service aces, 76 spiking kills and 115 assists for the Lady Eagles this season.

Byron-Bergen heads the team with four All-Star selections including repeat honorees Madison Farnsworth and Abby Vurraro along with Lexi Vurraro and Hannah Catalino.

Notre Dame is represented by the trio of Adryona Miller, Jewel Shenck and Alexis Danosos.

Attica also has a trio of honorees including Mary Weber, Randsley Berry and Claudia Hardie.

Rounding out the All-Star team are Kiersten Pryzbylski and Rylie Merle from Alexander, Brianna Smith and Leah Bezon from Oakfield-Alabama/Elba and Dekari Moss from Pembroke.

Farnsworth, Abby Vurraro, Miller, Shenck, Weber and Smith are all repeat honorees.

Lyndonville’s Lorelei Dillenbeck received Honorable Mention.

The Honorable Mentions selections also include Leah Veley and Ellie Newell from Attica, Hannah Van Skiver from Byron-Bergen, Abby Vingrey from Notre Dame, Megan Johnson from Oakfield-Alabama/Elba, Olivia Metz from Pembroke and Madison Rollo from Wheatland-Chili.

Class C Far West Regional
Portville 25-25-25, Byron-Bergen 16-13-10
Farnsworth had 9 kills and Lexi Vurraro 12 assists and 2 kills for Byron-Bergen in the three set loss to Portville in the Class C Far West Regional. The Lady Bees finish the season at 20-1.
