KENDALL – Led by the veteran senior trio of Mason ReQua, Justin Russell and Mark Washington, the Kendall Eagles are prepping for the Dec. 4 non league season home opener against Albion.

The Eagles veteran contingent also includes juniors Riley Reis and Jacob Weed along with sophomores Paul Urquhart and Mike Raschke.

ReQua and Urquhart both placed second at last year’s Section V Class B Tournament while Russell took fourth and Washington and Reis fifth.

“The key for us is to give 100 percent everyday in practice, be ready to put in the commitment, get better every day and learn from our mistakes,” said Coach Dan Boyd. “We’ve got a good work ethic and we want to keep making progress.”

Kendall is slated to open Genesee Region League competition at Alexander on Dec. 10.

The Eagles went 2-3 in G-R matches a year ago.
