Kendall grads earn Keuka honors

Kendall High graduate Nicole Browe has earned Keuka College’s Female Student/Athlete of the Week honor after scoring two goals Saturday leading the Wolfpack’s women’s soccer team to its first win of the season.

Browe, a freshman forward, netted the two goals in Keuka’s 4-1 in over Wells College in the team’s Northeast Athletic Conference opener. She gave Keuka a 2-0 lead when she made a long run to the ball and scored at the 28 minute mark. She later made it 3-0 when she scored on a header with 10 minutes to go in the first half.

Browe leads Keuka in scoring with three goals.

Another Kendall High graduate, Preston Vick, has earned Keuka’s Male Student/Athlete of the Week honor after making a season high seven saves in goal in the Wolfpack men’s soccer team’s 3-1 loss to Alfred University.

A junior business management major, Vick has made 14 saves and has a 1.10 goals against average in 245 minutes of action in goal for Keuka which is now 2-1.
