Kendall golfers score two wins

Kendall swept to a pair of victories over Attica and Holley this afternoon in a Genesee Region golf league tri-match.

Improving to 3-0 in the league, Kendall notched the victory with a team score of 244.

Attica finished just one shot back at 245 while Holley was 312.

Kendall’s Evan Gaesser took medalist honors with a 36.

Jake Adams added a 40 for the Eagles.

Matt Geneway shot a 38 for Attica.

Kendall earns split
Kendall earned a split in a Genesee Region League tri-meet.

In the girls competition, Kendall defeated Alexander 111-28 but lost to Pembroke 90-51. Pembroke also defeated Alexander 114-27. Taylor Rutland won the shot-put and Taylor ReQua the 200 for the Lady Eagles.

In the boys meet, Kendall defeated Pembroke 68.5-57.5 but lost to Alexander 94-47. Alexander also defeated Pembroke 78.5-56.5. Brandon Lewis won the long jump for the Eagles.

Tennis

Byron-Bergen 3, Kendall 2
Byron-Bergen got wins from Lucas Stucchio at second singles, Brandon Reiner at third singles and by the first doubles team of Colby Savage and Tyler Kota to earn a 3-2 win over Kendall in a Genesee Region League match.

Collin Lewis won at first singles for Kendall as did the second doubles team of Christopher Butlin and Ryan Barrett.

Wilson 5 1/2, Roy-Hart 0
Wilson improved to 2-3 in Niagara-Orleans League action by blanking Roy-Hart (0-5) 5 1/2-0

Joey Hecko, Gabriel Curicone and Kyle Lyon all scored straight set wins in singles competition to lead the Lakemen.
