Kendall girls trim Holley; R-H tops Wilson

Building up a big early lead, Kendall went on to edge past host rival Holley 8-6 this afternoon in a Genesee Region League softball game.
Kendall scored 5 quick runs in the first inning as Kacey Menge had a two-run double and Rebecca Banker an RBI single.
A two-run triple by Madison Rath then highlighted a three-run second inning for the Lady Eagles which also got 4 hits on the day from Lizzie Rath.
Hannah Brasted and Madison Papaj both had 3 hits, including a double, for Holley.
Roy-Hart 4, Wilson 1
Roy-Hart improved to 5-1 in Niagara-Orleans League competition by downing Wilson 4-1 as Lexie Lovewell hurled a 2 hitter with 4 strikeouts. She also helped her cause at the plate by banging out an RBI single in the third inning.
Sam Choate had the big blast of the day for the Lady Rams with a three-run homer in th fourth frame.
Jen Darlak had a triple for Wilson.
Akron 6, Barker 4
Abby Stone struck out 5 in the circle and also banged out a single and triple to lead undefeated (5-0) Akron to a 6-4 win over Barker (0-6).
