An early 3 goal scoring burst proved to be enough to earn Kendall a 3-3 tie with visiting Canandaigua this evening in the Rochester District Youth Soccer League U16 Division season finale as the Crossfires finish at 3-4-5.

Lizzie Sutphen scored all three Kendall goals in the first 12 minutes as Grace Robinson earned the assist on the middle tally.

However, Canandaigua came battling back with 3 second half goals to earn the tie and improve to 5-2-4 with one game remaining.

Over the weekend Kendall placed second at the Brockport Tournament dropping a 2-0 decision to Livonia in the finals.

Kendall advanced to the title contest by nipping Brockport and Fairport by the identical margin of 1-0 as Sutphen netted both goals.
