Kendall girls soccer team improves to 11-0

Contributed Photo – The Kendall and Oakfield-Alabama/Elba girls soccer teams combined at this evening’s special Breast Cancer Awareness Game to raise nearly $2,000 to fight Breast Cancer.

Kendall boosted its record to 11-0 with a 7-0 win over visiting Oakfield-Alabama/Elba in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game this evening.

Ryleigh Denning scored 4 goals to lead the way for the Lady Eagles as Mackenzie Cooper, Sophia Picardo and Jersie Drake each netted 1. Picardo also had a pair of assists.

It was a special night for the two teams as they celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness month by combining to raise almost $2,000 to fight Breast Cancer.

Newfane edged Albion in 5 sets 25-12, 25-16, 25-27, 20-25, 15-8.

For Albion, Charlotte Pike had 3 aces, 2 kills and 13 assists, Jillian LeBaron 7 kills and 13 digs, Anna Grillo 2 kills and 15 digs, Peyton DiMatteo 13 digs, Melia Prince 2 kills, 2 blocks and 8 digs, Katelyn Viza 12 kills, 4 aces and 6 digs and Sophia Bouchey 1 kill, 2 blocks and 6 digs.
