Kendall girls shutout Notre Dame

A pair of second half goals earned Kendall a 2-0 victory over visiting Notre Dame this afternoon as the Lady Eagles improve to 7-0 in Genesee Region League soccer competition and 8-0 overall.

Maya Rutland scored her 12th goal of the season, off assists from Taylor ReQua and Amelia Patrick, to give Kendall a 1-0 lead.

Taylor Rutland followed up with her fourth goal of the season, again off an assist from ReQua, to give the Lady Eagles and insurance tally.

Jenna Jacob earned the shutout in goal for Kendall which next hosts Holley at 3 p.m. Saturday for Homecoming.

Alexander 1, Lyndonville 0
Alexander scored with just eight seconds remaining gave Alexander a narrow 1-0 G-R win over visiting Lyndonville.

Lyndonville goalie Makenzie Muck made 18 saves on the day to keep the Lady Tigers in the game.

The loss drops Lyndonville to 3-5 in G-R action.
