After finishing last season with a 7-7 Genesee Region League and a 7-12 overall record, the Kendall girls return five of their top seven players looking to improve on those marks this year.

The starting trio of senior point guard Nicole Browe, who averaged 7 points, 3 steals, 3 rebounds and 2 assists per game, senior guard Shelby Reis (4 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist) and junior forward Taylor Kingsbury (6 rebounds, 4 points, 1 steal) head that veteran group which also includes senior forward Jaimie Smith (4 rebounds, 2 points) and senior guard Toni ReQua (2 rebounds, 1 point).

Junior guard Tania Arellano, who led the JV team in scoring, heads a group of seven players up from the JV squad.

“With a new division, a competitive schedule and a full year getting familiar with my system as coach the Eagles could improve on last year’s record and have a great season,” said Coach Jeff Parizek.

Kendall visits Barker on Dec. 2 in the non league season opener. The Lady Eagles then host their tournament on Dec. 5 and 7 facing rival Holley in the opening round.
