Kendall girls retain G-R Division 1 title
A pair of second half goals earned Kendall a 2-0 victory at Wheatland-Chili this evening as the undefeated Lady Eagles locked up a third straight Genesee Region League Division 1 soccer title.
Maya Rutland scored both goals for Kendall off assists first from Jenna LoSapio and then from Taylor Rutland. She now has a team leading total of 22 goals on the season.
Jenna Jacob earned the shutout in goal making 11 saves.
Improving to 11-0 in the league and 14-0 overall, Kendall next visits rival Holley at 6:30 p.m. Saturday for the Lady Hawks Homecoming game.

Nathan Warters scored the lone goal for Kendall in the 2-1 non league loss to Wilson Magnet.
Now at 7-6 overall, Kendall next visits rival Holley in a G-R contest at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
