Kendall girls regain winning touch

Snapping a five game losing streak, Kendall downed visiting Rochester Academy Charter 42-28 this evening in a non league girls basketball game.

Kendall, which roared out to a 26-7 half-time advantage, improves to 3-7.

Elizabeth Rath scored 15 to lead the Kendall offense as Daniela Volkmar added 8, Taylor ReQua 6, Lyndsay Wright and Rachael Bakutis 4, Taylor Rutland 3 and Emily Mattle 2.

Rath also had 10 rebounds and 3 steals, ReQua 8 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 steals and Wright 5 rebounds.

Kendall next hosts Byron-Bergen in a Genesee Region League contest at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
