Kendall girls nip Medina/Lyndonville in U18 contest; Albion trims Byron-Bergen in U15

Playing with no subs, Kendall edged past visiting Medina/Lyndonville 1-0 this evening in a Rochester District Youth Soccer League U18 Division game.

Kendall scored the game’s lone goal eight minutes into the second half as Grace Robinson tallied off an assist from Alayna Steffen.

Katie Pearson earned the shutout in goal as Lizzie Sutphen, Kari Harrier and Julie Coble helped to anchor the defense..

Kendall improves to 3-1-1 while Medna/Lyndonville is 1-3.

U15 Division
Albion 3, Byron-Bergen 2
Albion trimmed Byron-Bergen in a U15 Division game Friday to improve to 5-1-1.

Albion built up a 2-0 half-time advantage on goals by Jamie Penna and Aurora Serafin.

Byron-Bergen cut the deficit to 2-1 but Albion answered back with what proved to be the game winning goal by Penna.

Kendall’s Grace Robinson and Medina/Lyndonville’s Olivia Carter battle for possession of the ball.
