Kendall girls have G-R All-Star quartet
Photo by Mike Wertman – Kendall’s foursome of Maya Rutland, Taylor ReQua, Taylor Rutland and Kristen Jacob have earned Genesee Region League All-Star soccer honors.
Division 1 champion Kendall has placed four players on the Genesee Region League girls soccer All-Star team.
Kendall, which captured the G-R Division 1 title for the second year in a row with a 13-1-1 record, has placed senior defender Kristen Jacob, junior forward Maya Rutland, junior midfielder Taylor Rutland and freshman forward Taylor ReQua.
Jacob, ReQua and Maya Rutland are all repeat selections.
Maya Rutland led Kendall in scoring this season with 28 goals and 6 assists. ReQua had 11 goals and 15 assists, Taylor Rutland 6 goals and 7 assists and Jacob 2 goals and 2 assists.
The Lady Eagles also junior goalie Jenna Jacob receive Honorable Mention. She had 82 saves on the season.
Kristen Jacob and Marisa Hanlon, Kendall’s co-captains, represented the Lady Eagles at the Exceptional Senior game Sunday at Cal-Mum which saw the G-R seniors tie the Finger Lakes League 1-1.
