Kendall girls edge W-C for first win

Snapping a brief two game season opening losing streak, Kendall edged past host Wheatland-Chili 2-1 this evening in a Genesee Region League girls soccer contest.

Alezya Brown scored the game winning goal in the second half for Kendall off an assist from T’Mia Kitchings to snap a 1-1 deadlock.

In the first half, Kendall grabbed a 1-0 lead as Megan Gates scored from Ava Quintern but W-C answered right back with the equalizer a minute later on a tally by Emily Parker.

Notre Dame 3, Lyndonville/Medina 0

Autumn Mathisen, Arabella Rogers and Nina Bartz took turns scoring the goals for Notre Dame in a 3-0 G-R win over Lyndonville/Medina at Lyndonville.

Byron-Bergen 3, Holley 1

Jailyn Bishop for the lone goal for Holley in the Lady Hawks 3-1 G-R loss at Byron-Bergen.
