Kendall girls down W-C
Jumping out to a big early lead, Kendall went on to defeat host Wheatland-Chili 9-1 this afternoon in a Genesee Region League softball game.
Kendall scored two quick runs in the first inning and then broke the contest open with five more in the second as Taylor Kingsbury, Kacey Menge, Maria Albanese and Brooke Butterfield all had hits.
Kingsbury and Nicole Browe both had two hits on the day.
Chelsea Wright earned the win in the circle for the Lady Eagles scattering four hits and striking out three.
