Kendall girls down rival Holley

Scoring five quick runs in the first inning, Kendall went on to defeat host Holley 13-4 today in a Genesee Region League softball game.

Two hits by Sarah Pearson, along with one each by winning pitcher Chelsea Wright, Emily Mattle and Michela Hanlon, led the offense for Kendall which also benefitted from a total of 17 walks, seven of which came in the opening frame.

In the circle, Wright scattered 5 hits and struck out 7.

Anna Brasted had three hits for Holley including a double and triple.

Kendall is now 2-1 and Holley 0-3 in G-R action.
