Kendall girls down Lyndonville, Holley wins

A trio of players contributed goals as Kendall blanked host Lyndonville 3-0 this afternoon in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game.

Taylor ReQua scored what proved to be the game winner for Kendall when she netted her team leading 12th goal of the season off an assist from Megan Hardenbrook with 15 minutes to go in the first half.

The Lady Eagles put a lock on the victory as Hailee Mitchell scored from Brianna Wakefield and Lizzie Rath tallied unassisted in the second half.

Hannah Ulmen earned the shutout in goal making 7 saves.

Kendall is now 5-1 in the league and 6-2 overall while Lyndonville is 2-4, 3-4.

Lyndonville next visits Byron-Bergen at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Kendall entertains Oakfield-Alabama/Elba at 11 a.m. Saturday for Homecoming.

Holley 2, Oakfield-Alabama/Elba 0

Haylee Passarell scored both goals off assists from Ryley O’Mara and Madison Papaj made 5 saves to earn the shutout in goal leading Holley past Oakfield-Alabama/Elba 2-0 in another G-R contest.
