Kendall girls shutout Attica

Improving to 10-0 in the league and 13-0 overall, Kendall rolled to a 6-0 victory over visiting Attica this evening in a Genesee Region girls soccer game.

Kendall grabbed a 2-0 lead at the half on a pair of goals by Taylor Rutland giving her a total of 10 for the season.

The Lady Eagles then broke the contest open with four unanswered goals in the second half.

A goal by Emily Boyle ignited that uprising and Maya Rutland followed up with three tallies in a row giving her a team leading goal of 20 on the season. Taylor Rutland assisted on two of those goals and Taylor ReQua on one.

Jenna Jacob made two saves to earn the shutout in goal.

Kendall next visits Wheatland-Chili on Friday.

Barker 1, Lyndonville 0

Barker nipped visiting Lyndonville 1-0 in a non league game as Sara Gendrue netted the lone goal for the Lady Raiders off an assist from Mallory Gross.

Lindsey Williams made 21 saves in goal for Barker.
