Kendall girls blank rival Holley

A pair of second half goals powered Kendall to a 2-0 victory at rival Holley this evening in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game.

Marisa Hanlon scored what proved to be the game winner for Kendall in the opening minute of the second half off an assist from Taylor ReQua.

Elizabeth Rath added an insurance tally for the Lady Eagles late in the half off an assist from Hanlon.

Jenna Jacob made seven saves to earn the shutout in goal for the Lady Eagles.

Kendall finishes the G-R season at 13-1-1 and Holley at 4-9-2.

In one other G-R contest host Lyndonville battled to a 0-0 double overtime tie with Oakfield-Alabama.

N-O Roundup

Wilson completed a perfect 14-0 N-O championship season with an 8-1 win over Barker (1-12-1). Kelsey Flegal scored the goal for Barker.

Roy-Hart (6-8) trimmed CSAT (1-13) 3-2 as Amber Villella scored two goals and Emma Lindke one.

Akron (11-2-1) got two goals from Leah Czechowski and one each from Katie Apholz, Cailin Regan and Megan Kidder to post a 5-2 win over visiting Newfane (9-5). Emily Foltz and Katherine LaFever scored the goals for the Lady Panthers.

Jamie Treat had 15 service points including 11 aces and 4 assists, Becca Pearson 9 aces and Abby Horst 9 aces and 1 kill to lead host Kendall to a straight set non league volleyball win over RCMC.
