Kendall girls blank rival Holley

A goal late in each half earned host Kendall a 2-0 victory over rival Holley this evening in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game.

Taylor ReQua scored what proved to be the game winning goal for Kendall with just 2:12 remaining in the first half on a run that she started at midfield.

ReQua later added the clincher on a penalty kick goal with 6 minutes remaining in the second half.

Hannah Ulmen made 6 saves to earn the shutout in goal for the Lady Eagles.

Lady Hawks net minder Madison Papaj likewise made 6 aaves.

Kendall improves to 8-1 in the league and 9-2 overall while Holley is 2-8-1.

Pembroke 3, Lyndonville 2
Pembroke rallied with a pair of unanswered goals in the second half to trim Lyndonville 3-2 in another G-R contest.

Trailing 2-1 at the half the Lady Dragons earned the win as Sam Ianni netted both goals.

Lyndonville grabbed the first half lead as Anna Lewis, scored off an assist from Miranda Lembcke, and Aubrey Lewis tallied unassisted.

Kenzie Muck made 11 saves in goal for the Lady Tigers.
