Kendall girls blank Byron-Bergen

Pulling away in the second half, Kendall blanked visiting Byron-Bergen 4-0 this evening to remain undefeated at 4-0 in Genesee Region League girls soccer action.

In other GR action, host Alexander blanked visiting Lyndonville 3-0.

Kendall grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first half a on a goal by Taylor ReQua.

It stayed a tight 1-0 game until the 21st minute of the second half when Megan Hardenbrook scored off an assist from Coralee Feitag.

Kendall, which is now 7-0 overall, then put a lock on the victory as Keri Furness scored off a corner by ReQua and Maya Rutland tallied off an assist from Jenna LoSapio.

Jenna Jacob earned the shutout in goal making 8 saves including a couple of key stops.
