Kendall girls blank Alexander
A pair of early second half goals keyed Kendall to a 2-0 victory over host Alexander this afternoon in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game.
Maya Rutland scored both goals for the Lady Eagles, at the 9 and 16 minute marks of the second half, both off assists from Taylor ReQua. Rutland now has a team leading total of 17 goals on the season.
Jenna Jacob made 10 saves to earn the shutout in goal.
The victory keeps Kendall perfect at 9-0 in the league and 12-0 overall.
Holley 1, Notre Dame 0
Lexi Milazzo scored the lone goal for Holley in the 1-0 G-R win over Notre Dame as Riley Sanger earned the assist.
Madison Papaj made 3 saves to earn the shutout in goal for the Lady Hawks.
In other G-R action, Wheatland-Chili blanked Lyndonville 2-0.
