Kendall duo earns All-State soccer honors

Two Kendall High underclassmen, junior Maya Rutland and sophomore Jake Adams, have both earned All-State soccer honors.

Rutland was named to the third team of the All-State Class C squad and also to the second team of the All-Greater Rochester squad. She scored a team leading 29 goals and added 6 assists this past season in helping lead Kendall to both the Genesee Region League Division I and Section V Class CC titles.

Adams was named to the fifth team of the All-State squad and also earned second team All-Greater Rochester honors. He had 24 goals and 12 assists this past season in helping Kendall capture the G-R League championship.

The Akron girls team also had a pair of Class C All-State honorees in Cailin Regan, who was named to the second team, and Paige Buscaglia, who was selected to the third team.
