Kendall downs rival Holley in G-R softball
Scoring in six of the seven innings, Kendall downed rival Holley 15-4 in a Genesee Region League softball game at Holley this afternoon.
Trailing 2-1, Kendall moved on top to stay by scoring 4 runs in the third inning on a two-run single by Brooke Rodas and a two-run error.
Kendall, which improves to 12-6, capped off the win with a big 5 run seventh inning which featured RBI singles by Izzy D’Agostino and Ella Cole and a two-run homer by Teagan Shaw.
D’Agostino finished with 3 hits, including a pair of doubles, as Alea Barrett also had 2 doubles and Cole 2 hits.
Desiree McCormick had 2 hits, including a double, and Lily Newman a two-run single for Holley.
Gabby Hauptman earned the win in the circle for Kendall scattering 5 hits and striking out 5.
