Kendall cagers surge past W-C
Moving on top to stay in the second quarter, Kendall went on to defeat host Wheatland-Chili 75-59 this evening in a Genesee Region League game.
Trailing 17-16 after the opening period, Kendall put together a 22-15 second period scoring edge, including four threes by John Rath and 10 points by Nate Warters, to rally into a 38-32 half-time advantage.
Keeping the momentum, Kendall outscored W-C 23-15 in the third period to extend the advantage to 61-47 at the three-quarter mark. Warters scored 9 to lead that uprising.
Warters finished with a career high 33 points while Rath had 18, on six threes, and Mason Kuhn 11.
Byron-Bergen 64, Holley 47
Leading by a narrow 43-41 margin at the three-quarter mark, Byron-Bergen outscored visiting Holley 21-6 in the final period to claim a 64-47 G-R victory.
Anthony DiQuattro scored 16 and Chad Green and Alexander Brumsted both chipped in with 15 to lead the way for B-B.
Kohl Morgan had 16 points and 14 rebounds and John Mounts 10 points for Holley which led 23-18 after one quarter and 32-31 at the half.
Wilson 69, Barker 28
Building up a 37-16 half-time advantage, Wilson went on to defeat Barker 69-28 to improve to 7-1 in Niagara-Orleans League action.
Jake Miller scored 17, Alex Martinez 15 and Steve Frerichs 10 to lead the way for Wilson which got point production from all 11 players.

Staying perfect at 10-0 in N-O competition, the Wilson girls posted a 55-26 win over Barker.
Izzy Dinse scored 12, Skylar Munnikhuysen 11, Maddy Seeley 9 and Sarah Lewis 8 for Wilson which led 35-11 at the half.
