Kendall cagers score win over Barker

Snapping a season opening four game losing streak, Kendall downed host Barker 59-31 this evening in a non league boys basketball lame.

Nate Warters and John Rath each scored 15 points, Derek Edick 11 and Mason Kuhn 10 to lead Kendall’s balanced attack. Warters also had 7 rebounds, Kuhn 6 and Rath 8 steals.

Hunter Callen and Nick Guevara each scored 7 for Barker.

Up 28-18 at the half, Kendall used a big 19-2 fourth quarter scoring surge to lock up the win. Warters tallied 7 during that stretch.

Spencerport 65, Albion 36
Roaring out to a 43-11 half-time advantage, Spencerport went on to defeat host Albion 65-36 in a non league game.

Deyonci Farley scored 14 to lead Albion as Michael DiCureia added 7 and Bryce Pritchard 6.

East Aurora 53, Roy-Hart 51
A last quarter rally fell just short as Roy-Hart dropped a narrow 53-51 non league win to visiting East Aurora.

Charlie Brigham scored 16 and Charlie Bruning 10 for Roy-Hart.

Trailing 43-33 after three quarters, Roy-Hart did rally back to within two in the final seconds on a three by Brigham but the Rams could not get off a shot to tie the game.

Oakfeld-Alabama 54, Holley 39
A whopping 33 turnovers proved costly as Holley dropped a 54-39 decision to Oakfield-Alabama in a Genesee Region League game.

Joe Burdick scored 23 to lead O-A which held a 28-14 half-time advantage.

Carson Major led Holley with 12.
