Kendall cagers post road win at W-C

Movng on top to stay in the second quarter, Kendall went on to defeat host Wheatland-Chili 55-37 this evening in a Genesee Region League game.

Trailing 10-8 after one period, Kendall put together an 18-9 second period scoring edge to rally into a 26-19 half-time advantage. John Rath scored 7 while Brandon Miller and Collin Lewis each added 5 to spark the Eagles during that stretch.

Kendall maintained a 36-24 advantage at the three-quarter mark.

Miller finished with a total of 17, Rath 16 and Lewis 11. Miller also had 13 rebounds and 8 blocks, Rath 4 rebounds and 3 assists and Lewis 5 steals.

Byron-Bergen 67, Holley 40

Building up a 38-24 half-time advantage Byron-Bergen went on to defeat host Holley 67-40 in another G-R contest.

Cam Shenk hit three three’s in the second quarter to help the Bees open up the 14 point advantage at the break.

Brandon Burke, who had a total of 22 points on the night, later hit three threes early in the final period to help lock up the win.

Dyan Hillabush had 13, Patrick Bower 11 and Derek McArthur 6 for Holley.
