Kendall boys place 4th at X-C sectionals
Placing three runners in the top 21, the Kendall boys squad placed fourth in the Section V Class D2 cross-country race held this afternoon at Oakfield-Alabama.
Owen Hirschman placed 16th, Ethan Kuhn 18th and Braxton Zarpentine 21st for Kendall as Dutch Steffen was 27th, Ben Brundage 34th and Rowan Mancarella 41st.
Ben Skalny from Notre Dame won the race in a time of 17:29.
Honeoye took first place honors with 34 points followed by Notre Dame 45, H-A-C 96, Kendall 97, Hammondsport 113 and Geneseo 128.
In the boys Class D1 race, Holley’s Dylan Clemons placed 26th.
Zack Hall from Oakfield-Alabama won the race in a time of 16:50.
In the girls Class D race, Holley’s Adriana Botello placed 21st.
Leading the way for Kendall in the race were Hannah Brundage (35th) and Inez Stangler (39th).
Last Weekend in the Genesee Region League/Livingston County League boys meet Kuhn placed fifth, Zarpentine sixth and Hirschman seventh for Kendall.
In the girls race, Botello finished fifth for Holley and Brundage seventh for Kendall.
