Kendall booters win sectional opener
A lone second half goal proved to be just enough to earn No. 6 seed Kendall a 1-0 victory over No. 11 Bolivar-Richburg in the opening round of the Section V Class C2 boys soccer playoffs this evening at Warsaw.
Jake Adams scored his 12th goal of the season with 19 minutes remaining in the second half to provide the margin of victory for the Eagles.
Improving to 9-8, Kendall next visits No. 3 Bishop Kearney on Saturday in the quarterfinals.
