Kendall booters win OT thriller over B-B
Rebounding from an early 2-0 deficit, Kendall rallied to defeat host Byron-Bergen 4-3 in overtime in a Genesee Region League boys soccer game this evening.
Kendall battled back into a 2-2 tie by halftime on goals by Jonathan Reyes and Mike McCue.
B-B regained a 3-2 lead with 10 minutes to go in the second half but again Kendall came battling back this time on a goal by McCue with just five seconds remaining to send the contest into overtime.
The Eagles then completed the big comeback when Louis Conte scored the game winner with five minutes to go in the first overtime period.
Kendall, which next hosts Attica at 7 p.m. Friday, is now 4-0 in the league and 4-3 overall.
Pembroke 2, Holley 1
Pembroke scored a goal in the final two minutes to nip Holley in another G-R contest.
Cavan Bennage scored Holley’s goal.
