Kendall booters win G-R opener

Jumping out to an early 3-0 lead, Kendall went on to defeat visiting Attica 6-1 this evening the in Genesee Region League boys soccer season opener for the Eagles.
Jake Adams and Nate Warters both scored the three goal hat-trick to spark the Kendall attack.

Adams gave Kendall a quick 2-0 lead in the first six minutes as Warters assisted on both goals.
The two players then traded roles as Warters scored the Eagles next two goals, both off assists from Adams, to give Kendall a 4-1 half-time lead.
Nick Gradick scored Attica’s first half goal which kept the Blue Devils within 3-1.
Kendall put a local on the contest by scoring twice in the second half as Adams tallied from Warters and then Warters scored off an assist from Michael Gardner.
Kendall next hosts Byron-Bergen/Elba at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Byron-Bergen/Elba blanked visiting Holley 3-0 this evening in another G-R contest.
Up 1-0, the Bees locked up the win with a pair of late goals.
